Director, Recreation Services at University of Colorado Boulder

Tony Price currently serves as Director of Recreation for the University of Colorado at Boulder.   A comprehensive recreational, fitness and wellness service.  In his previous position as Director of Campus Recreation at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Tony oversaw the recreation services and programs of a tri-institutional campus comprised of MSU Denver, Community College of Denver and University of Colorado Denver. Tony’s career highlights include, supporting student persistence, strategic planning, capital improvement projects, and department rebranding.   Tony’s civic engagement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and advising The African Sustainable Development Foundation. His passion lies with serving students and underserved communities.

Tony received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder (1995) and a Master’s of Arts in Sports Management with an emphasis in Athletic Administration from the University of Iowa (1998).  He is a graduate of Leadership Denver, 2012 (Denver Metro Chamber).  Tony is an avid skier and cyclist and currently resides with his family in Littleton Colorado.
