Chris Herschberger
Chris Herschberger is a seasoned professional in the sport industry currently serving as the Director of Ticket Sales & Service at the University of Iowa. With a rich background in ticket sales and service, data analytics, and event management, Chris has been instrumental in generating significant ticketing revenue and enhancing the overall fan experience for the university's athletic events. Since being promoted to his current role in April 2022 Chris has led the Hawkeye Ticket Solutions outbound ticket sales and service department, overseeing a team responsible for over $5.3 million in ticketing revenue and $802,000 in annual giving in the 2023 fiscal year. His innovative approach to sales and marketing, combined with advanced analytics and pricing strategies, has resulted in record-breaking ticket sales and numerous sellouts across various sports. Chris's dedication and leadership were recognized when he was awarded the 2023 LEARFIELD Amplify Rookie Director of the Year.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Leisure Studies from the University of Iowa and is pursuing a Masters of Sports Administration from Ohio University. His extensive experience, coupled with his academic background, makes him a key player in the sports administration field.
